Why clean water is crucial to tackling the antibiotic resistance crisis

While Covid 19 swept across the globe, claiming lives and livelihoods and monopolising media headlines, another health threat has continued to grow.

Increased resistance of superbugs to antibiotics and lack of infection control is taking away the peace of mind we have enjoyed for three generations since penicillin transformed medical treatment.

Unless urgent action is taken, we face returning to a tragic past where even a minor scratch could have devastating consequences.
