Policy Brief and Infographics on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) in Africa

This policy brief summarises the results of the Mapping Antimicrobial Resistance and Antimicrobial Use Partnership (MAAP) project, and the analysis and interpretation of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and antimicrobial consumption (AMC) data collected from 2016 to 2019 from 14 countries of sub-Saharan Africa. The policy brief highlights the gaps and opportunities of the national AMR laboratory network. The document highlights the recommendations and most critical interventions to tackle AMR. The brief is accompanied by an infographic that provides a quick visual of main findings.
