PACE has opened a new call for proposals: 2024 Diagnostic Innovations
PACE is seeking to develop an early-stage in vitro diagnostic pipeline to improve the diagnosis of bacterial infections with high unmet needs. Up to eight applicants will be awarded grant funding, with projects expected to last up to two years. Technical feasibility projects will receive up to £300K, while product development projects will receive up to £1M. The projects aim to reduce inappropriate antibiotic prescriptions, provide faster results, and catalyze the move to personalized, narrow-spectrum treatments. PACE is prioritizing projects in Urinary Tract Infections, Lower Respiratory Tract Infections, and Bloodstream Infections/Sepsis. Expressions of interest are invited by 30 October.
