The National Alliance of Medical Professionals on Antimicrobial Resistance (NAMP-AMR), led by the Indian Medical Association, is a multidisciplinary alliance aiming to address the global health challenge of antimicrobial resistance. The alliance aims to develop strategies for awareness, surveillance, infection control, and optimization of antimicrobial use. The initiative focuses on six key areas: improving awareness, strengthening laboratory capacities, enhancing infection prevention and control, optimizing antimicrobial use, and fostering collaborations.
