Global Expert Mission AMR to India

The Global Expert Mission (GEM) will play an important role in identifying and shaping bilateral collaboration opportunities between the UK and India in the One Health AMR sectors. Innovate UK wants to establish connections and collaboration with India’s R&I ecosystem in relation to, but not limited to, their strategy for tackling AMR.

The delegation will comprise a broad range of expertise in AMR including experts from leading UK businesses, research and innovation institutes and UK government policy organisations in government policy, leading UK businesses. With experience in fields including AMR diagnostics, antimicrobials for human and animal use and vaccines in the One Health sectors.

Dr Maarten van Dongen of AMR Insights will join the GEM as the Technical Writer.

The GEM will visit Bangalore (Karnataka) & Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh).
