Overall aim
The overall aim of the AMR Innovation Mission Sweden 2022 is to help the global curbing of Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) by boosting international collaboration and joint innovation. The Mission aims to connect the Swedish and the international AMR ecosystems.
Objectives
The objectives of the AMR Innovation Mission Sweden 2022 include:
- Learn AMR hotspots and AMR ecosystem in Sweden
- Get to know international colleagues in Sweden, EU and Rest of the World
- Discover and initiate opportunities to collaborate along the AMR value chain
- Get scientific, business and funding insights in Sweden
- Boost international collaboration and joint innovation

The AMR Innovation Missions are an initiative of AMR Insights and are part of a rotating program. Each year, a country is selected on which the mission will focus the following year. The design and implementation of the program are coordinated with key stakeholders of the selected country. The country selected for 2023 will be announced in September 2022.
Participating at the online Kick off meeting
By participating in the online kick off meeting on 19 January 2021 you will have the opportunity to provide input in the set up of the virtual mission in the spring of 2022 and the physical mission to Sweden in the autumn of 2022. Start building relations and extend your networks. Registration for the online kick off meeting is mandatory. Participation is free of charge.
