Antimicrobial stewardship: guide for players and facilitators

This instruction manual describes the scope and purpose of a tabletop simulation on the rational use of antimicrobials and antimicrobial stewardship. The aim of the tabletop simulation is to improve knowledge and skills for antimicrobial stewardship, including in resource-limited settings, and enhance the capacity of health-care facilities to rationally prescribe antimicrobials. The tabletop simulation is designed for prescribers of antimicrobials, including doctors and nurses, and can be useful for public health professionals and hospital staff.
