AMR and Sustainable Development Goals: at a crossroads

  18 October 2024

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a global health threat, causing severe infections, increased health costs, and fatality rates. It impacts the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly affecting underprivileged populations and food production. Addressing AMR requires international cooperation, robust monitoring, and evaluation methods.
