  15 June 2024

The Global Action Plan on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) aims to improve public awareness through effective communication, education, and training. This study focuses on compiling and evaluating game-based AMR resources, identifying games that can be used for AMR awareness. The evaluations were based on game design, gameplay, content, engagement, learning outcomes, and difficulty. The study selected 12 AMR games and evaluated them on five criteria, resulting in a comprehensive catalogue of games for public communication programs. The evaluations led to actionable design recommendations for future resources.
