Revised standards: strengthened actions to contain AMR

WOAH’s AMR guidelines are critical to addressing today’s interlocking difficulties related to this expanding menace. The issue’s complexity necessitates a comprehensive adoption of the One Health strategy. As a result, the scope of AMR guidelines has been widened to include companion animals, environmental safeguards have been strengthened, and recommendations for antimicrobial agents of veterinary importance have been updated.
